Lectors generally serve once a month. Training is provided.
Every Mass is divided into two parts: the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. At every Mass the readings are proclaimed to us by our Lectors. Proclaiming God’s word is more than reading. It involves understanding what the reading means, and translating that understanding.
Lectors are responsible for proclaiming two readings, the intercessions and the announcements at Mass.

Mass Assignments/Schedules
Mass assignments/schedules are managed using Ministry Scheduler Pro (MSP). Directions for using MSP and a unique sign-in are sent via email to new Liturgical Ministers. If you have a sign-in, you may access the scheduler:
