CYO Basketball

The Church of the Resurrection has the largest CYO Basketball programs in the Archdiocese of New York. We offer year-round programs for boys and girls in grades 1 - 12 and a college-age Summer League for young men.

We have over 1200 players, 150 teams and 300 volunteer coaches.  Mutiple programs are held, and all children in the parish and school are welcome and encouraged to participate. Several programs are open to the entire community. 

We believe that the purpose of CYO basketball is to provide children with a positive, character-building experience through the vehicle of sports.  Children have the opportunity to practice Christian attitudes and responsibilities, build confidence, have fun, and make friends.  

We are fortunate to have two basktball gyms, including one which was donated by the Doty Family in 2014 in the memory of longtime parishioners George and Marie Doty.
